John has taken up gardening during the precarious performance at the bookshop.



We will post updates; however, conditions have not changed at the bookshop door. (John will decide whether to open the bookshop this week.)  Also, we have had to postpone the photo contest until business is more predictable.  Our sincere apologies.

Foot And a Half Drop Into Loose Rubble Saturday Morning
The Neat Little Bookshop was closed most of Friday and all day Saturday.  We cannot explain why a retail business would be left in these conditions for a weekend but there we are.

Today, we will once again contact the county project manager, our councillor and the contractor to see what can be done to reopen on Wednesday.  Meanwhile, we apologize for the inconvenience.  We experienced a visitor stepping into mid-air on Saturday, having forgotten the two foot drop.  There will be no entry to the shop until repairs.
