Laura Secord's Homestead, Queenston, Ontario
 
On the evening of June 21,1813, Canadian Laura Secord set out on a treacherous journey on foot from Queenston to  St. Catharines to warn the British that the Americans were planning an attack on Beaver Dams near Thorold.
