Franklin Reeve, father of actor Christopher, ". . . was excited and ordered champagne.  Christopher had just shared the news that he had the lead in Superman.  Then it slowly dawned on Christopher:  His dad thought that he had gotten the role of Jack Tanner in George Bernard Shaw's Man and Superman.
