Personally, I relate to poor Alice's bizarre experiences ~ in her case, falling down a rabbit hole, passing through a mirror, shrinking, expanding, showing up in the most absurd surroundings among characters that seem surreal. Unexpected, unpredictable change!

What is ordinary?

There is something forbidding about yards surrounded by giant earth berms (topsoil covered in weeds) and barbed wire. We were unable to take photos of the fields of solar panels.
